Towards more Women and Inclusivity 
in Science & Technology

We want to encourage more people from underrepresented groups to reach their ambitions, take up leading positions and find inspiring role models

 

TWIST, “Towards more Women and Inclusivity in Science and Technology”, is an initiative born from a group of scientists across the different life science institutions in Basel (D-BSSE (ETH), UniBasel, SwissTPH, FMI), aiming to create a network to empower and connect people from underrepresented groups in STEM within the Basel area. We organize several events that encourage people to interact, create new opportunities and address issues surrounding careers and education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
